What would a caveman do?

Every time I feel like I am in limited condition, I mean when I need something but I cannot have because there’s something makes me so.. I would think like a caveman. I put feet in their shoes.

Why caveman? Because they can survive even there’s no technology to help them or make everything easy, using only things nearby to solve the problems they face.

11/07 morning, I wanted to return a book to my friend. The stupid of me was, I didn’t tell him the night before. My plan was to put the book on his motorcycle sih, but I didn’t think there’s a fence and it is locked. Hahaha

I didn’t want to return the book later. But I also didn’t want to ngetok pager because I hadn’t made an appointment first. Plus, I assumed he’s still in his deep sleep regarding this happened at 6 am. Because I was too lazy to going back home and return it later, I looked for other ways. I thought I could hang the book at the fence. But, I had to make sure no other people will find it or throw it away. So I needed to put a sign with the expectation whoever would find the book will give it to my friend. Here me being a caveman started.

Fortunately, there was a paper, but sad no pen to write. Then, I looked around, tried to find something I could use to write. First, I looked for a pen, hopefully, someone has dropped some. But the result was nothing. No pen dropped and found. After that, I thought alternatives. My very first thought was using a leaf. Since I know that ink comes from leaves. Then I analysed that not any leaf can produce ink or be used as a pen. I thought something else, in general at that time. I thought a caveman also has this condition, they don’t have pens or pencils, but they could write and draw on cave-walls. They use blood or limestone, right? But in my condition, ya kali gua pake darah boss.. dikira santet kali. I tried to use a rock, coal. But then again, I didn’t find any things can leave coloured footage. Also, the rock is sharp, I thought it would rip off the paper.

The only thing that left coloured footage is tai ayam. No. Of course no. I almost gave up, until finally ibu laundry depan rumah opened the door, and I decided to borrow her a pen, hehehe

Despite the ending, I used a pen, the points of me writing this story is we have a capability to think, to see alternatives from our limited conditions. Let’s train our minds to think critically, analytically.

Back to their era, cavemen can survive even left their stories. No pen, no paper. Meanwhile in this era, with all technology and its developments, why do we give up easily?
